Actions: Reset Question

When building some questions you may want to allows users to have a second chance to answer a question they have got wrong. In these cases you need an action which instructs Opus to reset the question so that it can be answered and scored again and this is the action which does that.

Once this action is performed Opus will automatically remove the scoring the question set previously and reset any answers to be unselected.

This action can be applied to more than one Question on a page thus allowing you to have multiple questions on a page with just one reset action.

Setting up the Reset Question action:

  1. Add the Reset Question action to your trigger, as described in adding actions. The Reset Question tab will automatically appear when you add the action.

  2. A tree view of objects on the page will be displayed. You can now select the name of one or more questions you want to be reset by clicking the checkbox alongside.

  3. Click the Apply button to save your changes.

If you do not use this option to confirm the Question the scoring variables will not be updated. You cannot confirm questions on different pages.
