Actions: Confirm Question

When building some questions you may want to allows users to change their mind when selecting answers or to pick more than one answer. In these cases you need an action which will tells Opus the user has finished making their choice and this is the action which does that.

It only applies to Question types which include the need for a Confirm action.

Once this action is performed Opus will automatically score the question according to the answers which have been set by Set User Answer As according to the scores set up in the Question Properties.

This action can be applied to more than one Question at a time thus allowing you to have multiple questions on a page with just one "Submit Answers" button.

Setting up the Confirm Question action:

  1. Add the Confirm Question action to your trigger, as described in adding actions. The Confirm Question tab will automatically appear when you add the action.

  2. A tree view of objects on the page will be displayed. You can now select the name of one or more questions you want to be confirmed by clicking the checkbox alongside.

  3. Click the Apply button to save your changes.

This action only applies to Question types which include a Confirm. In these cases, if you do not use this option to confirm the Question the scoring variables will not be updated.

If the Question type does not include a Confirm option then simply setting an answer only sets the scoring in motion and this aciton is redundant.

You cannot confirm questions on different pages.
