Triggers are used to start a list of actions for a page or an object on a page. The triggers are part of the page or objects Actions dialog box. The Triggers tab is divided into four menu tabs.
The actions take place in response to:
activity by the mouse, such as Left or Right mouse clicks. Use the Mouse menu to select one of the triggers.
a key being pressed on the keyboard. Use the Advanced menu to select this option.
set intervals using the Ticker trigger. Use the Advanced menu to select this option.
can start automatically when an object appears (the On Show trigger) or disappears (the On Hide trigger). Use the Synchronisation menu to select one of the triggers.
Note:
Both the On Show and On Hide happen automatically when a page appears or disappears, if that object is on show on that page.
synchronised with the start or end of another event. Use the Synchronisation menu to select one of the triggers.
if another object is dragged or dropped onto it. Use the Drag & Drop menu to select one of the triggers.
if a variable has changed. Use the Advanced menu to select this option.
if one object collides with another (i.e. enters the same space as another object). Use the Advanced menu to select one of these options.
