This action is used to select a MIDI sound (or sounds) that you wish to stop playing.

Note:

The Stop Wave Sound action should be used to stop all other sound files, such as WAV, MP3, WMA or ASF formats.

Setting up the Stop MIDI Sound action:

1. Add the Stop MIDI Sound action to your trigger, as described in adding actions. The Stop MIDI Sound tab will automatically appear when you add the action.

2. Click on the Any MIDI sound currently playing option to stop all MIDI sound files currently playing.

3. Click on the The specific sound file… option to stop a specific MIDI file from playing. When you select this option, the sounds file list becomes active, then select the sound file from the list that you want to stop playing.

4. Click on the Fade out in option if you want the sound file (or sound files) to fade out over a specified amount of time. Use the spin buttons to the right of the fade out box to set the number of seconds required for the fade.

5. Click on the Apply button to save your changes.
