Question Confirmed Trigger

In building questions you may wish to give the user the option to change their answer several times until they are happy with it. In this case you need to add a Confirm Question action which will accept the user’s answer (as indicated but the Set User Answer action) as a result you may wish to trigger certain actions when the Question has been confimed. This trigger allows you to do that.

When a question is confirmed Opus automatically updates the score variables according to the answer values in the Question Properties. Thus there is no need to use this question to do any check of the answer or update score. You may wish to use this trigger to launch feedback or change the state of the answer objects or enable further navigation or similar actions.

Setting up the Question Confirmed trigger:

  1. Add the Question Confirmed trigger to your Actions Organiser, as described in Creating and Editing Actions. The Question Confirmed tab will automatically appear when you add the trigger.

  2. From the Question drop-down select the name of the question you want to trigger the actions.

  3. Click the Apply button to save your changes.
