Moving a Keyframe in a Tween

You can relocate keyframes by clicking and dragging them left or right through the timeline to the required position. Dragging the first keyframe right, away from the first frame of the tween will mean the object does not appear until the point at which you leave the first keyframe. In the example below the Star object will not appear until several frames into the animation.

You can also copy and paste keyframes within an object’s timeline so that if you want to use a previous keyframe – perhaps to return an object to a previous state you can do so. Right click on the keyframe you want to copy and select Copy Keyframe. Then select the frame where you want the object to be in the same position and shape and select Paste Keyframe from the right-mouse click menu.
