Opus provides a spell checker that checks the spelling in all Text and Button objects in your publication.
Note:
You can make various changes to the way the spell checker works in Opus by setting your own options for the spell checker in the Spelling tab in the Options dialog. For example, you can set the language that Opus will use to check words against and customise your own User Dictionary to include words or phrases that Opus will ignore as miss-spelt.
Click on the Tools menu, then select the Check Spelling option. This will open the Check Spelling dialog box.
Alternatively, click the function key F7. This will open the Check Spelling dialog box.
Opus will automatically start to search for spelling mistakes.
Click on the Search Scope option to select which part of your publication you want to search. By default the Current page option is selected, click on the down button beside the Search Scope box to set the scope, you can select from All publication and Current page.
Unknown or miss-spelt words will appear in the Unknown word box at the top of the dialog box. Where one or more suggestions are available, these will be listed in the Suggestions list box and the most like will be placed in the Change to: box.
To choose an alternative suggestion to the current one in the Change to: box, click on the word in the Suggestions list.
To use your own alternative to the suggestions, type your alternative into the Change to: box.
Click the Change button to apply the suggested change.
Click the Change All button to apply the suggested change to all occurrences of this error.
Click the Ignore button to ignore the suggested change.
Click the Ignore All button to ignore all occurrences of this unknown word.
Click the Add button if you want to add it to your custom User Dictionary. The word will then be permanently ignored.
Click on the Options button if you want to change the way the spell checker works in Opus. This will open the Spelling tab in the Options dialog box.
Click on the Undo button if you want to undo your last change.
