The Stop action will interrupt the loading of the current web page for the Browser object you specify in this action.

Note:
To use this action you must have drawn at least one Browser object on the current page – see Using the Browser Tool for more information.

You must also have Internet Explorer v3.00 or above installed on your system. Users of your publication will also require Internet Explorer 3.00 or above installed on their system.

Setting up the Stop action:

1. Add the Stop action to your trigger, as described in adding actions. The Stop tab will automatically appear when you add the action.

2. Use the Select the Internet browser this action applies to… panel to select the Browser object on the current page that you want to stop from downloading the web page. Click on the down arrow to the right of the Browser box to list all of the Browser objects that appear on the current page.

Note:
If the drop down box is empty, then there are no current Browser objects on the current page; therefore you will not be able to use this action.

3. Click on the Apply button to save your changes.
