This action is used to seek out a particular part or frame of the video or animation that is currently playing and go to that point. If the video is playing when this action is activated, it will continue to play from the new point onwards. Otherwise, the video will go to the point specified and the next Play Video action will play from that point onwards.
Add the Seek Video action to your trigger, as described in adding actions. The Seek Video tab will automatically appear when you add the action.
Click on the name of the video in the video list that you want to set a new Seek Option for. The video list contains all of the videos on this page.
Click on the Go Forward option to move the video forward by a specific amount. Use the spin buttons to add the time to the box. The video will move forward by the time specified even if it is not playing.
Click on the Go Back option to rewind the video by a specific amount. Use the spin buttons to add the time to the box. The video will rewind by the time specified even if it is not playing.
Click on the Go to Position option to specify a precise position for the current frame of the video. Use the spin buttons to add the time to the box. The video will move to the specified position even if it is not playing.
Click on the Go to start option when you want to rewind to the very beginning of the video.
Click on the Go to end option when you want to forward to the very end of the video.
Click on the Apply button to save your changes.
Note:
If the Display only when playing option has been set for the video you have selected. Any of the seek options you set with this action may result in the video disappearing from screen. For example, if the select the Go to end option and the video is not set to play continuously, the video will disappear.
