The Reset All Variables action allows you to reset all publication or all page variables, or both the publication and page variables, back to their original values quickly and easily.
This option is useful when you have allowed users to change the behaviour or look and feel of objects within your publication by setting different values for variables. By simply selecting one of the options in this action you can reset the publication back to its original state in one action.
Add the Reset All Variables action to your trigger, as described in adding actions. The Reset All Variables tab will automatically appear when you add the action.
Use the Page variables option if you want to reset all the page variables within your publication back to their original value (i.e. as when you first them).
Use the Publication variables option if you want to reset all the publication variables within your publication back to their original value.
Use the All variables option if you want to reset both the page and publication variables within your publication back to their original value.
Click on the Apply button to save your changes.
Note:
The Reset All Variables action will not affect the Score variables used to score a quiz. There is a separate Reset Score action in the Scoring menu of the Actions tab that will reset the scores and all the inbuilt scoring variables.
