Refresh Action

The Refresh action will re-open the current web page displayed in the Browser object you specify in this action. If the current web page is downloading when this action is triggered, it will stop the loading and start to re-load the page again.

Note:
To use this action you must have drawn at least one Browser object on the current page – see Using the Browser Tool for more information.

You must also have Internet Explorer v3.00 or above installed on your system. Users of your publication will also require Internet Explorer 3.00 or above installed on their system.

Setting up the Refresh action:

1. Add the Refresh action to your trigger, as described in adding actions. The Refresh tab will automatically appear when you add the action.

2. Use the Select the Internet browser this action applies to… panel to select the Browser object on the current page that you want to refresh. Click on the down arrow to the right of the Browser box to list all of the Browser objects that appear on the current page.

Note:
If the drop down box is empty, then there are no current Browser objects on the current page; therefore you will not be able to use this action.

3. Click on the Apply button to save your changes.
