Tilt Action

The Tilt action allows you to alter or set the current tilt angle (the up and down direction) of a QuickTime VR movie.

Setting up the Tilt action:

1. Add the Tilt action to your trigger, as described in adding actions. The Tilt tab will automatically appear when you add the action.

2. At the top of the Tilt tab is the Object List. Click the name of the object that you want to change the tilt angle of.

3. Click on the Type options in the Type option panel to control how the tilt angle is adjusted. Select Adjust Current Position to change the angle relative to the current position. Select Overwrite Current Position to set the angle to a specific value.

4. Use the Angle option to set the desired angle. The value and range depends on the setting of the Type option:

Adjust Current Position - use a negative angle to move downwards and a positive angle to move upward. The range of possible values is -180° to +180°.

Overwrite Current Position - the angle is set directly. The range of possible values is -90° to +90°.

Note:
The maximum range of the tilt angle is -90° to +90°, however the actual range that a QuickTime VR movie supports is set by the movie author. Any value outside the supported range will be clipped to the valid range.

5. Click on the Apply button to save your changes.
