The Change Data Paths tool allows you to access the publication on different network drives or different workstations. You can use this tool to change the data drive for resources in the Resource folder when you have consolidate resources.
The Change Data Paths tool appears in two menus at the top of the Creator Editor:
Publication menu – when you want to change data pathname for resources in a publication, click on the Change Data Paths option in the Publication menu.
Components menu – when you want to change data pathname for resources in a Component Gallery, click on the Change Data Paths option in the Components menu.
The Change Data Paths tool works in the same way for both publications and galleries, below is a description for the publication option only.
