The General tab in the Polygon Properties dialog allows you to set the name of the polygon, its size and position. All of these settings are automatically filled-in when you first draw the polygon using the Vector tool in the Tools toolbar.
Click on the Name box to edit the name. When a Vector object is created, it is automatically given a name; you can change it to more descriptive name if required.
Use the Size panel to change the size of the polygon. The box on the left changes the width of the polygon in pixels. The box on the right changes the height of the polygon in pixels.
Use the Position panel to change the left, right, top or bottom position of the object in pixels.
Using the General tab you can accurately resize or position a polygon on a page. However, you can simply resize an object manually by right-clicking on the polygon and selecting Node Edit from the right-click menu.
