Timeline Properties dialog

Unlike other tools, the Timeline tool does not use the standard Properties dialog box. This is because the tool does not appear on the page but only in the Objects tab of the Page Organiser. However there is a small Timeline Properties dialog available. Click on the Properties button to open the Timeline Properties dialog.

Setting up the Timeline Properties:

  1. Use the Auto Start option in the properties box to start the timeline as soon as the user enters the page. By default this option is ticked, which means that every timeline you add to a page will start automatically unless you do

Note:
This option does not need a trigger to activate it; it will start as soon as the user enters the page. If this option is not ticked, the timeline can only be started using the Start Timeline action – see Start Timeline action for more information.

  1. Use the Repeat panel to set the number of times that the sequence of actions in the timeline will play. There are three options: Once, Play and Continuously. By default, the Once option is selected.

Note:
You can halt the timeline using the Stop Timeline action. This will terminate the timeline even if you have selected the Play or Continuously options.

  1. Click on the OK button to save your changes.
