Cursors tab

The Cursors tab in the Properties dialog box allows you to change the icon for the cursor from the standard pointer image\Cursor_Arrow.jpg to another icon either when you Mouse Over or Mouse Press an object, or for Text objects when you Mouse Over a hypertext link.

Note:
You will only see the cursor change when you run your publication or press the function key F5 to preview the current page, it does not change in the Opus Editor.

You can also change the standard arrow cursor and the busy cursor, using the Cursors tab in the Publication Properties dialog.

To edit the Cursor tab settings:

  1. Click on the Standard or From File options in the Mouse Over cursor to change the cursor when you move the mouse over an object.

  2. Click on the Standard or From File options in the Mouse Press cursor to change the cursor when you press the mouse on an object.

  3. Click on the Standard or From File options in the Mouse Over Hypertext link to change the cursor when you move the mouse over a hypertext link in a Text object.

Note:
This option will only appear for Text objects.

  1. Click on the Apply button to save your changes.

Note:
You can import your own cursors that you have created using the From File option. This also allows you to import animated cursors as well as standard cursors.
