Printing the Notes View

At the bottom of every page in the Opus editor is the Notes View panel. Often you may want to add notes to a page to simply remind you of changes or amendments you have to make to the page before it is completed. At other times, you may want to be able to print the text along with a republication of the page. For example, when you create a publication it is often useful to have speaker’s notes to refer to as you are delivering a publication.

To Print the Notes View:

  1. Click on the File menu, then select the Print Publication option. This will open the Publication Print Layout dialog box.

  2. Click on the Include notes view panel to add the Notes View to your printout.

  3. Click on either the Bottom or Right option in the panel to align the notes on your printout. A preview of the page layout appears on the right side of the dialog.

  4. Use the slider on the Page Size bar if you want to increase or decrease the size of the notes on the printout.

  5. Click on the Print Preview button if you want to check how the notes will look on the final printout before you print.

  6. Click on the Print button to start the printout or click the OK button to save your changes without printing the page.
