Printing the Actions Organiser List

The Print icon image\Icon_Actions_Print.jpg at the top of the Actions Organiser allows you to print the list of actions you have added to the currently opened object. This can be particularly useful if it is fairly complex list of actions or as a record for larger project managed publications.

You can print to the printer or you can copy the list of actions to the Windows clipboard or to a text file.

To Print the Actions list:

  1. Click on the Print icon image\Icon_Actions_Print.jpg at the top of the Actions Organiser – this will open the Actions Print Options dialog.

  2. Use the Copy to Clipboard option in the Actions Print Options dialog if you want to copy the list of actions as a text list into the Windows clipboard. You can then paste the list of actions into a word processing document.

  3. Use the Save to Text file option in the Actions Print Options dialog if you want to copy the list of actions as a text list into a new text file. Click on the Browse… button to open the Save As dialog and locate the folder in which you want to enter the actions list. Give the list a filename and press the OK button to save the new text file.

Note:
The text file is saved as TXT file and can be opened using Windows Notepad or a word processing application.

  1. Use the Print option in the Actions Print Options dialog if you want to print the actions list to a printer – this will enable the Print panel options below.

  2. Tick the Show Print dialog option in the Print panel if you want to select your printer before printing. If this option is not ticked, the actions list will be printed on your default printer immediately.

  3. Tick the Print Page Numbers option in the Print panel if the printout should include a page number at the foot of the page.

  4. Tick the Print Document Name as a Title option in the Print panel if the printout should include a header showing the name of your publication.

  5. Tick the Enable page count below option in the Print panel if you want to know how many pages there will be in the printout.

  6. Use the Font box in the Print panel to enter the Font size for the actions list text. Use the down button next to the box to select a font size.

  7. Click on the OK button to save your changes and start the print process.
