Line Styles And Caps

All objects drawn with the Opus drawing tools can have an outline and fill.

You can set the outline width and style. Open shapes can have line caps at the start and or end of the line.

To set the line width for an object:

  1. Select the Draw object on the page.

  2. Click the down arrow beside the Line Width indicator on the Pen Style toolbar.

  3. Select the width of the line by clicking on it in the list.

To set the start line cap style for an object:

  1. Select the Draw object on the page.

  2. Click the down arrow beside the Start Cap indicator on the Pen Style toolbar.

  3. Select the style of the cap by clicking on it in the list.

To set the line style for an object:

  1. Select the Draw object on the page.

  2. Click the down arrow beside the Line Style indicator on the Pen Style toolbar.

  3. Select the style of the line by clicking on it in the list.

To set the end line cap style for an object:

  1. Select the Draw object on the page.

  2. Click the down arrow beside the End Cap indicator on the Pen Style toolbar.

  3. Select the style of the cap by clicking on it in the list.

To set the line cap scale for an object:

  1. Select the Draw object on the page.

  2. Click the down arrow beside the Cap Scale indicator on the Pen Style toolbar.

  3. Select the scale of the cap (relative to the line width) by clicking on it in the list.
