Opus Pro makes it easy to be creative but also provides the functions and capabilities for professional-level development of more sophisticated materials and whilst it does not need programming skills OpusScript is available for those who want to extend the functionality themselves. It is based on the syntax of the widespread Javascript language so you don’t have to learn another proprietary language.
Opus Pro includes database connectivity via the industry-standard ODBC functionality. Together with additional actions and objects Opus Pro provides developers of all levels with a rapid multimedia development tool which is both easy to get started with and powerful enough for a wide variety of tasks – though it is not intended to replace a full programming language in all instances.
It also allows the creation of SCORM-conformant online training materials with control of the final packaging of those materials without the need for any additional software.
