Once you have created an object and set up its Properties and Actions, you may want another object that is similar. The Duplicate tool in the Main toolbar allows you to copy an object (or objects).
Click on the object (or objects) to select them. A bounding box will surround each object.
Click the Duplicate
tool on the Main toolbar. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+D to duplicate the object (or objects). A copy of the object (or objects) will be created and placed slightly to the right and down from the original.
Note:
The exact location of the duplicated object is set by the Offset pasted objects option in the General tab of Options in the Tools menu.
Alternatively, you can hold down the Alt key as you click and drag an object on the page to create a copy. This will create a copy of the object at the new position when you release the mouse button.
