Scroll Down Page Action

image\Action_Scroll_Page_Down.jpg

The Scroll Down Page action is used to scroll text down by a whole page. A page is taken to mean the amount on view in the Text object frame you have drawn on the page in your publication – it does not mean the original page size of the text or the page size of the printer.

Note:
This action will do nothing if the top line of the text is already showing.

Setting up the Scroll Down Page action:

1. Add the Scroll Down Page action to your trigger, as described in adding actions. The Scroll Down Page tab will automatically appear when you add the action.

2. Click on the name of the text object in the text object list that you want to use this action with.

3. Click on the Apply button to save your changes.

Note:
Opus provides a shortcut method of adding Scroll actions to a Text or Button object using the Add scroll actions option in the QuickBuild menu – see Add Scroll Actions for more information.
