Play Multiframe

The Play Multiframe action allows you to start going through the frames in a multiframe from the start MultiFrame object.

Note:
The first frame will be the first frame in the Organiser – see Playing order for Frames in a MultiFrame for more information.

When you create a MultiFrame object you can set the Play Automatically option to automatically flip from frame to frame in order in time intervals set on the Properties page for that Multiframe. If you do not want this to happen automatically you can deselect this option and use the Play Multiframe action to start the multiframe playing at some other moment in your publication.

Note:
Whilst waiting for the Play Multiframe action an inactive Multiframe will still be visible with the first frame showing, unless you set it to be hidden. In which case you will need a Show action prior to the Play Multiframe.

Setting up the Play Multiframe action:

  1. Add the Play Multiframe action to your trigger, as described in adding actions. The Multiframe list will automatically appear when you add the action.

  2. Click on the name of the MultiFrame object in the MultiFrame object list that you want to use with this action.

  3. Click on the Apply button to save your changes.

Note:
Any On Hide transition effects that have been entered on an Object in the current frame will be run before the next frame is displayed. Then, any On Show transition effects entered on an Object for the next frame will be run.
