Play Autonarrate Action

The Play Autonarrate action is used to start an autonarration for a specified Text object.

Note:
This action is only relevant if you have set up an autonarration for a piece of text.

Setting up the Play Autonarrate action:

1. Add the Play Autonarrate action to your trigger, as described in adding actions. The Play Autonarrate tab will automatically appear when you add the action.

2. Click on the name of the text object in the text object list that you want to use this action with.

Note:
Only text objects that have had an autonarration added to them will appear in the text object list.

3. Click on the Apply button to save your changes.

Note:
It is common practice to use the Auto Start option in the Autonarration feature, which automatically plays the sound file when the text object appears on the page. Thus, the Play Autonarrate action is normally used when you want to replay an autonarrated text. For example, you could easily create a replay button on your page, so that when the user clicks on the button it triggers this action. Alternatively, if the Auto Start option was not selected, this action allows the user to decide whether or not to play the autonarration.
