The third tab in the Actions Organiser is the Programming tab which allows you to use programming type features without scripting. This is used primarily for setting or checking variables and using the If statement to check whether something is true or not – for example if a score is greater than 70% This tab contains two menus:
The Programming menu –contains a list of actions that allow you to control the order of actions.
The Variables menu – contains a list of actions that allow you to set the content of a variable Including adding and subtracting amounts or creating random numbers.
Both of these menus only contain actions that are added to a trigger like any other action – see Creating and Editing Actions for more information.
Note:
The Programming tab contains advanced actions that allow you to build even more sophisticated publications. However, if you are a new user, you should become familiar with the basics of Creator before you try to use these actions.
Important Note!
Although these are called Programming actions they do not require programming knowledge or skills to use.
