When you first start using Creator you may think that you will never have to use variables. However, as you gain experience and see the types of interactive publications you can create, you will probably want to use even more of the tools in Creator and some of them require variables.
Simply put variables store information thats it! Creating them is also straightforward but if you are new to Creator or to variables then read the following sections:
