While developing a publication or tying to pin down the cause of a problem it can be useful to disable actions or triggers that are not related to the elements you are currently working on. This disabling is known in programming terms as "commenting out" – that is, disabling commands by temporarily hiding them.
Open the Actions dialog box for the page or object you want to edit.
For pages, double-click the right mouse button on a blank area of the page currently open in the Creator Editor window.
For objects, double-click the right mouse button on the object to which you want to add the actions.
Select the action or trigger to comment out in the Actions Organiser.
Click the Comment button on the Actions view toolbar or select the Comment command from the right-click menu for the action/trigger.
The commented action or trigger will be greyed out in the Actions Organiser and the property page for commented actions is disabled.

The uncommented action or trigger will be displayed in the normal colour in the Actions Organiser and the property page for commented actions is enabled.
Note:
The commented state of actions is only "remembered" while the publication is open in the editor; it is not saved with the publication. This is intended to prevent any possible confusion when you reload a project and something doesn’t work because you have forgotten that it was commented out.
