Resize Mode

The Resize mode allows you to use the resize handles of an Opus container (a Frame, Question or multiframe) to resize all the content within it.

It has a similar effect to the Scale Mode but is different in that the physical dimensions of the objects are changed.

This can be useful for resizing elements to allow for more text as you can decide whether text should be resized or maintain font size.

To resize a group of objects on a frame or question

  1. Make sure the current tool is the Selector tool.

  2. On the Tools toolbar, click the Resize button as illustrated above. This switches the selector tool into resize mode

  3. Select the main continaer object – the frame or question in the normal way by clicking on them and then use the resize handles to adjust the size. You will notice that all the content resizes accordingly.

Note:
The text in a text box will also resize but can easily be reset to it’s previous size. This is useful if you want to resize an object to allow room for more text.

  1. Remember to click the Resize Mode button on the Tools toolbar again when you have finished to switch this mode off.
