The General (2) tab in the Publication Properties dialog allows you to set more general settings for the whole of the publication.
The Use multiple bookmarks option allows you to save more than one bookmark within your publication. If this option is not ticked then only a single bookmark is saved for this publication – see Overview of the Bookmark feature for more information.
The Store bookmarks in: option determines where the bookmarks are save and loaded from. There are three options available:
In the system TEMP folder - The bookmarks are stored in a file in the system TEMP folder. this is the way Opus worked in the past and is the default option.
In the publication folder - The bookmarks are stored in a file in the folder the publication is running from
In the publication registry -The bookmarks are stored in the publications private registry key).
Note:
If the In the publication folder option is selected and the publication cannot write to the publication folder (it if is being run from a CD-ROM, for example) then it will fall back to using the system TEMP folder instead.
The Use publication search database option allows you to create an index of words within your publication – see Creating an Index for more information.
The Joystick triggers auto-repeat option is used to make joystick trigger auto-repeat. By default a single trigger is sent for each individual joystick direction change or button press. If this option is set the triggers are generated as long as a direction is held or a button is pressed.
Click on the Apply button to save your changes.
