Startup page

The Startup page in the Options dialog allows you to set what happens when the Opus Editor is first opened.

To edit the Startup page settings:

1. Use the Load previous Publications panel in the When editor starts panel to automatically load up any publications you had open the last time you used the program.

Note:
Loading several publications, especially large ones, may take time so you can abort this by pressing the Esc key during the start-up process.

2. Tick the Load previous Galleries option in the When editor starts panel if you also want to load the Component Galleries when you open the Opus Editor.

3. Use the Show Startup Wizard option in the When editor starts panel you want the Startup Wizard to appear when you open the Opus Editor.

4. Use Check for missing resources option if you want the system to search for missing resources in any publication or gallery that is opened in the Opus Editor.

Note:
This option checks the images, sound files and other resources used for objects in a publication and warns you if they are missing – you can use the Resource Manager to find them.

5. Click the OK button to save your changes.
