Creating a PDF of your publication

Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) format is non-interactive so Opus publications cannot be translated directly into that format but if you need a PDF copy of your publication – for review and/or offline editing by a colleague for example it is quick and easy to produce one as follows:

  1. Select all the pages in your publication.

  2. Use the Export Selected Pages option from the File menu to generate a copy of all the pages in your publication. To make the generation of the PDF simpler we recommend you use the browse button to set a dedicated location for these files.

  3. Once all the pages have been exported run Adobe Acrobat to create the PDF.

  4. Select the Create PDF function

  5. Select From Multiple Files option

  6. Then Browse to the location where you saved your publication pages and add all these to your PDF. They will be listed in the Files to Combine list.

  7. Click OK to create your PDF.

Note:
If the purpose of creating the PDF is for workgroup collaboration then you can also use the Opus Viewer software to allow colleagues to actually add comments to your presentation from within the publication itself.
