Clock Format Options

Opus provides a variety of clockformat options for the Start Clock action. These allow you to display the current clock time in hours, minutes, seconds and even tenths and hundredths of seconds.

Note:
The format options are only available when you create the clock using the Start Clock action and they are added to the action’s Format box.

The format options are as follows:

Some Examples:

The following are all valid entries in the Format box of the Start Clock action:

Example 1:

If hours = 2 and minutes = 5 and seconds = 7:

Format box entry

Display on screen as:

[hh]:[mm]:[ss]

02:05:07

[h] Hours [m] Minutes

2 Hours 5 Minutes

Example 2:

If seconds = 34 and tenths = 8 and hundredths = 82

Format box entry

Display on screen as:

[ss]:[ff]

34:82

[ff] Hundredths of a second

82 Hundredths of a second

Important Note!

Although the counter goes up at one-second intervals, it splits the time into hours, minutes and seconds (it also counts tenths and hundredths of seconds as well). In other words, if 96 seconds have elapsed, the clock will only be able to show 1 minute and 36 seconds and not 96 seconds, see Example 3 below:

Example 3:

If the current clock time elapsed is 96 seconds

Format box entry

Display on screen as:

[hh]:[ss]

1:36

[ss]
