Often when designing a publication you will have a series of similar objects on the page, a row of images or a column of buttons. These look neatest when spaced evenly, which can require some care to achieve manually. Creator provides a shortcut via the Space Evenly option on the Arrange menu.
Hold down the Shift key and click on all of the objects you want to space evenly. A bounding box will surround each object.
Click on the Arrange menu and point to Space Evenly, then click on the Across or Down option. The objects will be spaced evenly in the direction you specified.
Note:
The spacing is calculated between the two objects furthest apart in the relevant direction and then divided equally.
