Flashpiper plays Flash on flash-enabled Android phones without a browser and in fixed orientation.

Use Existing Material

By playing industry-standard Flash movies as standalone interactive presentations, Flashpiper makes it easy to use your existing software to produce material for Android phones - no specialised development required.

Requires Android v2.2 or greater (Adobe Flash player must be installed). Developed for Opus Creator and Opus Pro but works with any SWF.

The Flashpiper Fix

Even with improved resolutions mobile phones still have limited screen space and very different dimensions when held in landscape or portrait mode. As a handheld device it is all too easy for this orientation to change inadvertantly. Any SWF file you create to promote yourself or your company via mobile phone is in danger of appearing as a tiny page squashed into the centre of an already tiny screen.

Flashpiper fixes this - simply.

Simple to install - Automatic in Use.

Flashpiper is provided as an .apk install so it loads onto the phone quickly and easily with an icon to launch it if required. Then whenever you browse to a SWF movie, Flashpiper will automatically offer to display it - no need to launch the program yourself. If there is a dedicated version for landscape or portrait mode Flashpiper will download both and show the one appropriate to the phone's orientation. The movie then remains in the Flashpiper list and available to view again and again offline using the Flashpiper app.

Furthermore Flashpiper fixes the phone's orientation while viewing your file to make sure the view doesn't change if the user moves the phone.
